Don Brewster
Agape International Missions
Don Brewster is the Founder and Director of Agape Restoration Center I and II and Rahab's House in Cambodia, both ministries of Agape International Missions. Don grew up in Johnson City, New York, known as The Valley of Opportunity. He was greatly influenced by his paternal grandparents to seek the wisdom of Christ in all aspects of his life. Don is a graduate of William Jessup University ( formerly San Jose Christian College) and received his Masters of Divinity through Liberty University. He is married with four children and eleven grandchildren.
After building a successful career in the business arena, he felt called to missions and social justice issues full time. The opportunity presented itself as a position as Executive Pastor at Adventure Christian Church in Roseville, California. After a leadership training mission trip to Cambodia, Don realized the crisis of sex slavery in children was happening while he was there, as well as throughout the world. Upon learning about this slavery he was convicted he had to do something. In 2005 Don and his wife, Bridget, moved to Cambodia to fight against this evil.
The mission statement of their ministry is that Jesus Christ through his church will defeat the evil of child sex trafficking. By educating and raising up national leaders in Cambodia, some success is happening in the restoration and prevention of female children and young adult girls. However, in this success the perpetrators have become more covert and underground in operating this slavery. It is Don’s prayer that the documentary Not My Life with further the safety of children in Cambodia and throughout the world.
